Nampa Police have reported that a woman who was stabbed to death in Nampa on March 28, was the mother of Raul Alexander Cuevas who has been arrested for stabbing to death the man believed to be her assailant Jesus R. Urrutia.
Police searched throughout the night for Urrutia before discovering him dead in a parked car outside a convenience store in the Avimor subdivision off of Highway 55. Urrutia was stabbed to death by the victim's son, Raul Cuevas. Cuevas has been arrested for the murder of Urrutia.

Ada County Sheriff's Office confirms that Raul Alexander Cuevas has been arrested for murder in connection with a fatal stabbing near the entrance to the Avimor subdivision. A spokesman for the Sheriff's office confirms that more information will be forthcoming and we will continue to update this story as that information becomes available.

Ada County Sheriff's Office is reporting what appears to be a fatal stabbing in a parked car near the entrance to the Avimor subdivision in north Ada County.
The Office says it received a 911 call just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday. Deputies were directed to the parking lot of a gas station near the Avimor entrance where an adult male in a car was found with a stab wound.
Deputies have a suspect in custody. The case is still under active investigation, and the Office says there is no perceived threat to the public.
